Chris launched Bleecker Street Capital, an activist short-biased fund just this month. Before that Chris was an analyst at Kingsford Capital, a dedicated short-selling fund, and at Steamboat Capital, a long-short hedge fund. Chris gained national attention in 2015 for exposing problems at American Addiction Centers, which filed for bankruptcy last year.
Chris, how has your experience been launching a short-only fund and why did you decide to launch one just five years out of college rather than getting more experience working for others?
